Board of Discipline (BoD)

Pursuant to Article 32 of the Statute, which came into force on 11 August 2019, the Disciplinary Board is composed of nine full-time tenured professors and is divided into three homogeneous sections, each composed of three full professors, three associate professors and three permanent researchers with appropriate expertise. 
Members are elected by the respective faculty members of the University, in accordance with the procedures specified in the University's General Regulations. The impartiality of the body is guaranteed, including through the presence of external members, where possible. 
The Board conducts the preliminary investigation of disciplinary proceedings and issues a final opinion on the matter. It operates according to the principle of peer review, in accordance with the adversarial process. Participation in the Disciplinary Board does not give rise to the payment of compensation, emoluments, allowances or expense reimbursements. The procedure is governed by the University's General Regulations, in accordance with the provisions of current legislation. 
The Dean of the University is responsible for initiating disciplinary proceedings against the Rector. 
The Board remains in office for four years and its members cannot be re-elected consecutively.

Appointed by Rector's Decree No. 1012 of 2 October 2023, effective from 6 October 2023 for a term of four years.
