Training course and Open Badge quality assurance

The University Quality Assurance Committee and the Planning and Control Service have produced six short videos addressing the main topics of Quality Assurance.

The course is aimed primarily at students of the University, but it also provides interesting information for lecturers and technical-administrative staff.

By watching all the videos and passing a short test, students, lecturers and technical-administrative staff can obtain the Open Badge: ‘Quality Assurance – Training’'.

Network of Quality Assurance Units of Lombardy Universities

The Quality Assurance Unit has promoted the establishment of the Network and participates in biannual meetings to share and discuss QA issues:

  • 25 November 2021: The role of QA Officers in light of the Assessment Areas of Ministerial Decree 1154/2021, Vita e Salute San Raffaele University;
  • 30 April 2021: Student involvement in the quality assurance system for study programmes and the role of the PQA, University of Brescia;
  • 6 November 2020: University Review for strategic planning and the role of the Quality Assurance Committee in post-CEV monitoring, University of Bergamo;
  • 20 May 2020: Research and Syllabus: opportunities for collaboration in QA, University of Milan;
  • 30 January 2020: Quality Assurance: comparing experiences, University of Insubria.

CRUI initiatives

The PQA participates in CRUI-CONPAQ (National Coordination of Quality Assurance) workshops:

  • 7 October 2021: Student participation in Quality Assurance;
  • 26 May 2021: Quality Assurance: composition, tasks and relations with governance;
  • 13 November 2020: Meeting of PQA Coordinating Presidents and PQA Office Managers.

In 2021, the PQA participated in the MIP-Fondazione CRUI course “Innovating teaching with technology”:

  • 24 February 2021: Module 5 - Using and enhancing synchronous tools for innovative digital teaching;
  • 18 February 2021: Module 4 - Using and enhancing asynchronous tools for innovative digital teaching;
