Since its foundation, the University of Insubria has always been promoting the continuous development of basic and applied scientific research, in order to provide and guarantee high standard levels of innovation, learning, creativeness and planning thanks to the intense activities of its research groups, structures and services.

In February 2019, our University achieved the European label, Human Resources Strategy for Researchers - HRS4R, an accreditation that the European Commission grants to those academic institutions that work to implement the principles of the European Charter of Fundamental Rights Researchers and the Code of Conduct for Their Recruitment. The goal is to prompt a work environment at our University both more challenging for those who already work here and more attractive for external promising talents.
