Rector's Delegates

By Rector's Decree no. 1257 of 18 November 2024, Prof. Andrea Spiriti, full professor in the Department of Human Sciences and Innovation for the Territory, was appointed Delegate for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage, Museums and Libraries. 

Scope of the delegation:

• coordinating and promoting initiatives in the field of cultural, architectural, museum and archival heritage;
• promoting and managing relations with the relevant Superintendents, with particular attention to contemporary issues and relations with the local area;
• promoting tools capable of ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the University Library system in collaboration with the Head of the University Library and Documentation Services Area;
• participate in activities promoted by CRUI in the field of museum recognition and the Library Commission;
• inform the University Communications Service, working in concert with it to promote and enhance the activities related to the delegation;

By Rector's Decree no. 1253 of 18 November 2024, Prof. Rossella Locatelli, full professor in the Department of Economics, was appointed Delegate for the University Budget and Strategic Planning. 

Scope of the delegation:

• coordinating the definition, implementation and updating of the strategic plan in strict accordance with the programme guidelines, also in light of any significant events that may arise;
• monitoring the coordinated development of the strategic plan, budgeting process and reporting;
• monitoring the consistency and sustainability of the budget with respect to the contents of the final and provisional balance sheet;
• work in synergy with the manager(s) of the areas in which the Budgeting and Management Control Service, the Finance Service and the Planning, Organisational Development and Quality Service are based;

By Rector's Decree no. 1260 of 18 November 2024, Prof. Daniela Dalla Gasperina, associate professor in the Department of Medicine and Technological Innovation, was appointed Delegate for Teaching and Training. 

Scope of the delegation:

• coordinating, rationalising and promoting the University's teaching and training activities, in order to enhance the skills of the teaching staff and increase those of the students, in compliance with the provisions of the Teaching Quality System, working in conjunction with the University Quality Assurance Committee (PQA) and the Evaluation Unit (NUV);& nbsp;
• promote and develop innovative and distinctive training courses, using teaching methods that differ from traditional ones, on digital platforms; 
• participate in the work of the special Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC);

Subject of the delegation:

• implementing actions for the right to education, coordinating and planning initiatives aimed at welcoming students and guests of the University, in accordance with the constitutional provisions referred to in Articles 3, paragraph 2, and 34, paragraphs 3 and 4;
• defining and planning calls for applications that grant students regional financial benefits integrated with University funds for accommodation and scholarships;
• participating in regional and ministerial strategic round tables relating to the delegation;

• identifying policies concerning inclusion and the reduction of barriers for students with disabilities and SLDs;
• developing actions aimed at removing situations that may hinder the full integration of students and, more generally, of all those who wish to take advantage of the University's initiatives, also with a view to promoting psychological well-being;

Scope of the delegation:

• to work in coordination with the Delegates for Teaching and Training, Research and Technological Innovation, and Knowledge Enhancement to identify activities aimed at implementing Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, and similar technologies;
• expand and enhance, in a structured and coordinated manner, the University's educational offering by proposing the activation of new “horizontal” courses and the implementation of innovative teaching methods, with the aim of ensuring modern and flexible study programmes;

• promoting policies and practices geared towards environmental sustainability within the University, in line with European and global commitments on climate change and the protection and enhancement of biodiversity, also in collaboration with businesses, public bodies and associations and with the RUS group – Network of Universities for Sustainable Development;
