The Researchers' Night (Meet Me Tonight) is a European initiative held on the last Friday of September in over 300 European cities to make research and researchers known to the general public in a fun and engaging way. Our University has participated in the event since 2013 with the offices of Como, Varese and Busto Arsizio.
Every year the number of partners participating in the event has been increasing, transforming this event into a great celebration of the three cities that lasts several days (in Como even a week!) and offers workshops, conferences and visits organized in the University offices, in schools and museums and with a big event in the Cities' squares at the end of the itinerary.
Each past edition saw the participation of several thousand people and was characterized by a common thread around which the program was designed.
The European Researchers' Night is a project funded by the European Commission as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions with the aim of promoting the careers of researchers in Europe.
