Vice-Rector

The Vice-Rector represents the Rector at the Como campus and represents the University in the event of the Rector's absence or impediment. 
At the relevant campus and within the guidelines set out by the University's governing bodies, the Vice-Rector performs the following functions:

1. supervisory function;
2. coordination functions;
3. draws up contracts for teaching activities pursuant to Article 23 of Law No. 240 of 2010 concerning the campus under his/her jurisdiction;
4. verifies the effectiveness of actions and programmes aimed at ensuring the equal development of their location.

The Vice-Rector for the six-year period 2024-2030 is Prof. Umberto Piarulli.
