UnInsubria for Sustainability

The 2030 Agenda, endorsed by the governments of the 193 UN Member States, highlights the unsustainability of the current development model and urgently calls for real and continuous change through concrete actions.

The health emergency of recent years has underscored the fundamental role of research in overcoming present and future challenges, and in addressing the crises encompassed by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals launched by the United Nations in 2015. Research, which provides tools and answers for society as a whole through knowledge creation and dissemination, must become a travelling companion for each and every one of us.

The University of Insubria will play a capable and committed role in this essential global challenge that we are all called upon to face.
