Quality Assurance Board (PQA)

The University Quality Assurance Board (PQA) is established and organised in proportion to the size and complexity of the University’s teaching and research activities.

The Quality Assurance Board:

  • acts as the University’s coach for the implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) policies;
  • is responsible for the implementation of Quality policies;
  • ensures the proper conduct of QA processes, in line with ANVUR guidelines and the directions of the University’s Governing Bodies;
  • promotes a culture of QA;
  • involves the academic community in the adoption and development of the QA system;
  • raises awareness among the various members of the academic community of their respective roles by:
    • defining shared tools and methods for managing QA processes;
    • organising training and discussion meetings;
  • monitors QA processes and reports on them to the Governing Bodies.
The composition of the Quality Assurance Board

The members are appointed by the Rector and serve a three-year term, with the possibility of one renewal only. The members are identified as representatives of the Departments and are supported by the administrative staff member responsible at University level for coordinating the Quality Teaching Managers (MDQ) and by the staff member responsible for activities related to the Quality Assurance (QA) system.
