Uninsubria has activated an institutional distance learning service, both for participation in training activities such as lectures and seminars, and for the conduct of degree sessions.  
The tools supporting distance learning activities are generally the University's e-learning platform and Microsoft Teams.

Who is it for?

The service is aimed at students enrolled in Uninsubria courses who fall into the following categories:

  • students with certified motor disabilities upon request and distance learning is provided for in the individualised training plan drawn up with the University's Disability Service;
  • students residing abroad awaiting completion of enrolment in University courses;
  • students enrolled under the agreement with the Department of Public Administration for the PA110 e lode Project;
  • students enrolled in doctoral, master's or advanced courses when, for reasons of effectiveness, some lessons, modules or seminars are delivered remotely.
Who does that?

Uninsubria lecturers, both permanent and contract staff, often with the support of technical and administrative personnel.

The e-learning platform 
First of all, please remember to consult the information on your degree programme and individual courses on the University's e-learning platform.

Microsoft Teams 
Microsoft Teams is the tool you can use to participate in educational activities, such as lectures and seminars, or to defend your thesis remotely. The tool can be accessed via the web from your Uninsubria e-mail account or via the app.

Please also remember to check frequently:

  1. your personalised page within the Student Services Web Services (or on the Insubria App) to find out about lesson times and any notices that have been sent to you
  2. your University email account, to find out which courses are offering distance learning lessons

Information and guidelines for lecturers and technical and administrative staff involved in the preparation of distance learning activities are available on the University Intranet. 
To access the Intranet, you must log in with your personal Uninsubria credentials.
