This application, accessible through web browsers (web-based), represents a set of integrated tools that enable the publication and use of teaching materials online and is the main technological resource supporting online teaching. It is easy to use for both teaching staff and students.
The platform also provides a range of collaboration tools (forums, self-assessment tests, etc.), making increasingly close interaction between lecturers and students possible.

The current Moodle e-learning platform is the most widely used Open Source solution worldwide for online education and guarantees stability, ease of use, and compliance with the main international standards for the exchange and reuse of teaching materials between different platforms.

Who provides it?

The platform is provided in a “Software as a Service” model by the CINECA consortium. Support for teaching staff and students is provided by the University’s Information Systems Office.

Who is it intended for?

The service is automatically activated for teaching staff and students and also allows access to courses specifically designed for University staff.

How to access the service

The platform can be accessed using any modern web browser. A dedicated mobile app is also available for the main mobile operating systems.
