The University provides you with a range of channels and contact persons you can turn to in order to submit requests for information, suggestions to improve the services offered to you, or reports of service issues, should you encounter problems or difficulties, or feel that you have been subjected to inappropriate behaviour.
The service is reserved for enrolled students of degree programmes in the Department of Biotechnology and Life Sciences (DBSV).
You can submit requests for information, suggestions, or reports through several channels:
- The main channel through which you can request information or ask the University offices (Student Administration Offices, Right to Education and Student Services, Guidance and Careers Service – which also provides support for students with disabilities – and Teaching Offices) to intervene in the management of your university career is InfoStudenti. Through this tool, requests are routed to the relevant offices and you can monitor their status.
- For matters concerning the teaching activities of your degree programme, you may contact the designated Tutors listed on your programme’s webpage under “Programme organisation” and/or the Teaching Quality Managers (staff of the Teaching Office), who will assist you in resolving complex issues related to your study pathway, facilitating contact with academic staff and personnel from other offices.
- For suggestions aimed at improving the quality of the degree programme, through the identification of specific issues and proposals for their resolution, student representatives in the institutional bodies and in the Quality Assurance Committees are available, foremost among them the Joint Student–Staff Committee (CPDS). You can find names and contact details on your programme’s webpage under “Programme organisation”.
- It is also always possible to discuss matters with the Programme Director of your degree course. You can find the name and contact details on your programme’s webpage under “Programme organisation”.
- Finally, please note that at University level there are the Confidential Adviser and the Single Guarantee Committee (CUG), which receive reports concerning incidents of discrimination, sexual harassment, or workplace bullying.
For unresolved issues relating to problems already reported through the channels or to the contact persons indicated above, for any delays in responses or service issues, or to report behaviour deemed inappropriate on the part of academic or administrative staff, depending on the specific matter you may contact the Persons responsible for managing student reports, listed in the relevant section.
They will take charge of providing you with feedback on response procedures and timelines, after carrying out the necessary checks, always in compliance with confidentiality requirements.
You may submit your reports to the persons responsible for managing student reports via the University’s institutional email service, by sending an email. For security and identification reasons, only reports sent from your institutional email address (@studenti.uninsubria.it) will be accepted.
- At University level, you may report unresolved issues, submit a complaint relating to the services of the central University offices for students (e.g. Student Administration Offices, Right to Education and Student Services, Guidance and Careers Service, International Relations) or suggest measures to improve the related services by contacting Dr Federico Raos, Head of the Teaching and Research Area.
The dedicated email address is: segnalazioni.servizi@uninsubria.it.
The person delegated to manage this mailbox is Dr Valeria Mazzoli, from the International Relations Office. - At degree programme level, you may report unresolved issues, submit a complaint, or suggest improvement measures by contacting Prof. Luigi Valdatta, Director of the Department of Biotechnology and Life Sciences (DBSV).
The dedicated email address is: segnalazioni.dbsv@uninsubria.it
The person delegated to manage this mailbox is Prof. Francesco Acquati. - Please note. Any complaints regarding non-compliance must be accompanied by supporting documentation (for example, copies of emails previously sent to offices that did not receive a reply).
An initial response will be sent within 7 working days, indicating the procedures and response times consistent with any checks and further investigations that may be required.
