Cell Culture Laboratory - DBSV - Varese

The laboratory carries out activities involving the manipulation of stabilised or primary cell cultures of animal origin.

Equipment 
(reference to the two departmental rooms on the green and blue floors)

• 3 CO2 incubators (Heracell, Galaxy S, Thermo Scientific Forma)
• 3 laminar flow hoods (Bioair AURA 2000 MAC, TOPSAFE 1.2, JUPITER)
• 2 centrifuges and 2 thermostatic water baths
• 2 dewars for cryopreservation of cell lines (located in room 185 on the green floor)

Access procedures

Access to the two departmental cell culture rooms is permitted to:

• all DBSV staff
• all visitors to the department's laboratories

​in the presence of personnel adequately trained in the use of the equipment present.
