Staying motivated in their studies, approaching exams with greater confidence and finding the courage to start again after setbacks. These are the goals of “Mindset vincente” (Winning Mindset), the second motivational coaching workshop organised as part of the University of Insubria’s ReStart project, scheduled for Friday, November 20, at 5 PM, in Room S.06 at the Cloister of Sant’Abbondio in Como.
Promoted by the Department of Human Sciences and Innovation for the Territory and the degree programme in Languages and Skills for Education, the event will focus on “Becoming an effective student: strategies and practical advice for staying motivated and tackling exams.”
How can students stay committed when results take longer than expected? How can they regain confidence after failing an exam? The workshop will provide an opportunity to reflect on the role of personal attitudes and beliefs in university life, exploring practical strategies for overcoming obstacles and maintaining motivation over time.
At the heart of the event is the opportunity to develop a more mindful and effective approach to studying, recognising personal strengths and learning to see difficulties as challenges to overcome rather than as judgments of one's abilities. It will also be an opportunity to reflect on individual progress and rediscover the motivation needed to move forward, one step at a time.
The event is open to all University of Insubria students and forms part of the activities of ReStart – Coaching Team Insubria. Alongside its thematic workshops, the project also offers free, confidential individual coaching sessions to help students maintain motivation, clarify their goals and navigate decisions throughout their university journey.
