Sterilisation Laboratory - DBSV - Varese

The laboratory is used for washing, drying and sterilising glassware, as well as for the sterilisation of solutions and media for in vitro cultures.

Access conditions and opening hours

Access is restricted to:

• staff of the Department of Biotechnology and Life Sciences – DBSV
• authorised students (enrolled in DBSV degree programmes or on international mobility schemes), who are required to review the autoclave operating procedures with the person in charge and subsequently complete and sign a form, also countersigned by the Head of Teaching or Research Activities

from Monday to Friday, from 8.45 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. 
Please note: the final autoclave load of the day must take into account the time required for the sterilisation cycle, in order to ensure that the equipment is left switched off and empty, for obvious safety reasons.
