The Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Physiology focuses on the study of the relationships between the structure and function of membrane proteins, through their heterologous expression in Xenopus laevis oocytes and in cell lines.

Equipment

  • No. 2 voltage clamp set-ups
  • No. 1 patch clamp set-up
  • No. 2 microinjection stations (microinjectors and stereomicroscopes)
  • Basic molecular biology equipment (PCR, centrifuges, electrophoresis cells, etc.)

Access conditions

Access to the laboratory is restricted to:

  • university staff
  • authorised students (students enrolled in degree programmes in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Biology Applied to Biomedical Research, Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology, international mobility students, and PhD students).
