Curricular internships are included in the study plans and take place during the course attendance period, also for the purposes of completing the degree thesis.

They are aimed at refining the student's learning and training process, alternating between study and work.

They are governed, including with regard to their duration, by university regulations, in compliance with the relevant national legislation.

The administrative management (signing of individual agreements with companies/public bodies and training projects) is the responsibility of the Internship Offices located in the University's departments.

Curricular internships provide for the recognition of training credits necessary for the acquisition of the degree; for this reason, each internship offer will be evaluated by the competent teaching structure in the following aspects: consistency with the student's educational path, validity of the content, consistency of the duration (number of months and total hours) with the number of credits required for curricular internships in the specific course.

How do I activate an internship?

To evaluate an internship offer among those proposed on the website, access the placement services (under ‘Internships and work placements’) in Student Secretariat Web Services and register on Almalaurea to fill in your CV, view company profiles and the profiles sought, and send your application for the positions you are interested in.

If you already have an internship offer and want to propose it to your degree course, contact the relevant internship office directly (see contacts on the right-hand side of the page) .
Remember that in order to obtain credit recognition, the internship must comply with the specific regulations for your degree course.

The internship begins with the completion of an individual training project that defines the objectives and methods of the internship, agreed upon by all parties (intern, university tutor and company tutor) and approved in advance by the relevant teaching department (see contacts and opening hours on the right-hand side) for the purpose of subsequent recognition of university credits for the activity carried out.

At the end of the internship you will be asked to fill in an evaluation form, the data of which is useful to the University for monitoring and evaluating the activity carried out and for the continuous improvement of the service; you will also have to submit a report on the regular progress of the internship to the Internship Office of your degree course in order to receive academic credits.
