The University of Insubria, in adherence to the principles laid down in its Statute, also undertakes to safeguard the right to education of female and male students who engage in high-level competitive sporting activity, by supporting and facilitating the university career through tools and services put in place to promote reconciliation and the continuous balance between sporting commitments and university education. These intentions are realised through the establishment of student-athlete status.
University students.
In particular, the status is granted to female and male students regularly enrolled in a first-cycle degree programme, second-cycle degree programme, or single-cycle master’s degree programme, who practise high-level competitive sport. At the time of submitting the DUAL-CAREER application, the student must be registered with a sports club affiliated to National Sports Federations officially recognised by CONI and CIP and, at the same time, must satisfy one of the requirements set out in Article 2 of the Student-Athlete – Dual Career Regulations
The status of student-athlete is subject to participation in a specific call issued for each academic year.
All information, including the outcomes, is published on the call page.
