How to apply for a new digital identity

Below, we explain step by step how to proceed. For all information on who can apply for a new Digital Identity, please consult:

1. Validation and access

The access credentials will be sent to the email address provided during the pre-registration phase.

Important 
Before you can access Uninsubria services, your request must be validated by a responsible person/validator.

2. Pre-registration

To complete the pre-registration:

  1. go to www.uninsubria.it/id;
  2. enter a valid email address;
  3. accept the terms and conditions;
  4. click “Complete registration”.

A message will be sent to the email address you provided.

After a few minutes:

  • check the email inbox provided in the previous step;
  • click on the link contained in the message.

The registration procedure will then begin.

3. Registration

To complete the registration:

  1. correctly fill in all the required fields and, if necessary, the optional ones. Required fields are marked with an asterisk.
  2. Please note:
    • “Account start date” is mandatory and corresponds to the requested date for the activation of the account and services; it cannot be earlier than the start date of your relationship/contract with the University;
    • “Account expiry date” is mandatory and corresponds to the end date of your relationship/contract with the University.
  3. Upload a valid identity document in JPG, PNG, or PDF format;
  4. Accept the terms and conditions of this service;
  5. Click “Complete registration”.
