Insurance – Collaborators

External personnel whose services are used by the University in the performance of its institutional activities may be covered by the accident insurance policy taken out by the University.

For the purposes of the validity and effectiveness of the cover provided by this policy, exclusive reference shall be made to the regulatory provisions of the insurance contract deposited with the University.

The service is intended for:

• project-based coordinated and continuous collaborators;
• holders of occasional assignments;
• professionals.

Territorial limits
The insurance cover applies worldwide in the performance of institutional duties.

Coverage limits
€600,000.00 in the event of death
€700,000.00 in the event of permanent disability
€300,000.00 in the event of permanent disability due to illness
€40,000.00 for reimbursement of medical expenses
€50.00 per day as a daily allowance for temporary incapacity

Premium
The collaborator may take out this insurance policy by completing the relevant application form. The premium is payable by the individual collaborator at the following rates:

• €0.35   Monthly cover
• €0.99   Quarterly cover
• €2.00   Six-month cover
• €3.99   Annual cover

Please note that insurance cover comes into effect from the date the premium is paid.
