English language certification

As indicated in the "Guidelines for the accreditation of doctoral degrees" language training is provided by the date of attainment of the title of Doctor of Research.

The language skills must be certified by an officially recognized certifying body, in accordance with the provisions of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The list of certifications considered valid for meeting this requirement can be found in the table below, along with their respective validity periods.

For cycle XXXVIII and subsequent ones

For the purpose of fulfilling the requirement, the doctoral student must possess one of the valid certifications listed in the table below or fall under one of the exemption cases outlined in the corresponding form (link to be inserted).

How to request the fulfillment of the requirement or exemption:

Send the certificate issued by the certifying body listed in the table above to the email address scuola.dottorato@uninsubria.it;
Send the form duly completed in every part to the email address scuola.dottorato@uninsubria.it.
