The University of Insubria has published its call for applications for the Italian Erasmus programme for the second semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. The initiative offers students the opportunity to spend a study period of three to six months at another Italian university, attending courses, taking exams, undertaking internships or working on their thesis.

The programme aims to promote student mobility within the Italian higher education system, foster cultural exchange and territorial cohesion, and encourage the development of innovative and interdisciplinary educational pathways.

Applications must be submitted by 12 noon on 20 November. The programme is open to students enrolled beyond their first year in the Bachelor's, Master's and single-cycle Master's degree programmes specified in the call, provided they are up to date with their tuition fee payments. Students approaching graduation are also eligible to apply, provided their mobility period begins at least three months before their expected graduation date.

A grant of €1,000 per month is available to selected students whose ISEE Università (university financial eligibility indicator) does not exceed €50,000. The allocation and disbursement of the grant are subject to funding from the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research, in accordance with the procedures and criteria outlined in the call for applications.

Mobility opportunities involve four Departments of the University of Insubria and numerous Italian universities.
