Rediscovering motivation, recognizing one's abilities, and finding the determination to complete what one has started. These are the goals of “Believe in Yourself” (Scommetti su te stesso), a motivational coaching event scheduled for Friday, October 23, at 5:00 PM, in Room 11 of the Monte Generoso Pavilion in Varese, as part of the University of Insubria's ReStart project.
The initiative, promoted by the Department of Human Sciences and Innovation for the Territory and the Degree Program in Languages and Skills for Education, will be led by Dr. Alessandro Maria Buzzi, PhD, and will address some of the key aspects of university life: motivation, studying, sacrifice, commitment, and career prospects.
During the event, through guided reflection and practical exercises, students will be encouraged to identify the beliefs that may hinder their academic progress, recognize and build on the skills they have already acquired, and develop concrete strategies to overcome difficulties and achieve their goals.
The session will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the relationship between personal expectations, self-confidence, and future choices, with particular emphasis on reassessing one's academic journey, rediscovering motivation, and moving forward with greater awareness and confidence.
The event is part of ReStart – Coaching Team Insubria, a university initiative designed to promote students' well-being and personal development by providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
Participation entitles students to 0.5 event credits for the Degree Programs in Communication Sciences, Communication Sciences and Techniques, and Languages and Skills for Education.
