This is highlighted by the 2026/2027 Censis Ranking of Italian Universities, which places the University second nationally and first in Lombardy, with a score of 105 for graduate employability. The result places Insubria among the top institutions in its category, tied with the University of Brescia, for its ability to prepare graduates for successful entry into the labour market.In the overall ranking of public universities with between 10,000 and 20,000 enrolled students, the University of Insubria ranks 12th in Italy and third among Lombardy's universities in the same category, with an overall score of 83.2. This result confirms the University's competitiveness within a highly competitive group of institutions, where differences in overall performance remain minimal.Among the indicators contributing to the overall assessment, Insubria also performs strongly in internationalisation, ranking sixth nationally and second in Lombardy. Particularly noteworthy is its performance in the international relations indicator, where it ranks third in Italy and first in Lombardy.Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics also confirms its position among Italy's leading programmes, ranking fifth nationally and second in Lombardy, while Medicine and Surgery maintains a solid position with 17th place nationally and fourth regionally.Among the bachelor's degree programmes, the Computer Science and ICT disciplinary area ranks 11th nationally and third in Lombardy.
