Publishing date: 19 June 2026 Immagine notizia Immagine Paragrafo University of Insubria to celebrate its 28th anniversary with a Graduates’ Celebration at the Giardini Estensi in VareseThe University of Insubria was founded on 14 July 1998.To mark the 28th anniversary of its establishment, the University will host a Graduates’ Celebration on 14 July 2026, honouring alumni who completed their degree programmes between July 2022 and March 2026.The event will provide an opportunity for graduates to reconnect, celebrate their achievements, and share a memorable occasion with fellow alumni and members of the University community.The celebration is also intended to strengthen the relationship between the University and the city of Varese. The programme will begin with an academic procession led by Rector Maria Pierro, accompanied by department directors, University delegates, and participating graduates. The procession will depart at 6:00 p.m. from the Rectorate building on Via Ravasi and proceed through Piazza della Repubblica and Piazza Monte Grappa before arriving at the Estensi Gardens. By passing through the heart of the city, the procession will symbolise the close ties between the University and the local community.The official ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Estensi Gardens in Varese with an address by the Rector, followed by a programme dedicated to the University’s graduates. The event is scheduled to conclude at approximately 8:30 p.m.The University has contacted all graduates who completed their studies between July 2022 and March 2026. Those who have not received the invitation, or who would like to attend despite not having previously registered their interest, are invited to contact the University at comunicazione@uninsubria.it by 30 June 2026.Further details of the programme will be announced in the coming weeks. Information regarding participation will be sent directly by email to graduates who have confirmed their attendance.
