New additions to the academic offering
Two new degree programmes, currently in the final stage of the accreditation process, are among the additions planned for the next academic year.
The single-cycle master’s degree programme in Pharmacy, which qualifies graduates to practise as pharmacists, is an open-admission programme based at the Como campus. It is jointly organised by the Department of Science and High Technology and the Department of Biotechnology and Life Sciences. The programme provides the scientific and technological expertise required to practise the profession and work as a pharmaceutical specialist. In particular, it is designed to prepare pharmacists for their innovative new role as a primary point of healthcare and as an interface between patients and doctors. The curriculum will also include courses focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in the pharmaceutical sector.
The bachelor’s degree programme in Digital Technologies for the Environment and Construction, known as Tedac, is a limited-enrolment programme based at the Varese campus. It trains graduate surveyors, technical professionals who combine traditional expertise with advanced digital tools. The degree qualifies graduates to practise the profession and includes an internship with companies, professional practices and public or private organisations. The programme combines lectures, laboratory work and field activities using technologies such as 3D modelling, GIS, BIM, drones and laser scanners.
There are also new developments involving two programmes already included in the University’s academic offering: the bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science will also be offered at the Como campus, while a part-time study option will be available for Biotechnology.
Information pages for each programme are available in the Degree Programmes section. The information will be updated for the 2026/27 academic year from 22 June.
