Advisory Committee of the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programmes in Mathematics

Representatives from the Professional Sector

Representatives from the professional world collaborate in the design of the Degree Programmes (CdS) of the Department of Science and High Technology – DiSAT, providing useful input for the definition and updating of professional profiles. They also perform an advisory role in the design of internships and contribute to evaluating the effectiveness of the educational pathway.

The main objective of this activity is to maintain an ongoing dialogue between educational provision and labour market demand, sharing the Degree Programme’s educational project and fostering effective collaboration with scientific and professional organisations, as well as representatives from the cultural and production sectors, including at international level, not only during the establishment phase of the Degree Programme.

The Degree Programme is supported by an Advisory Committee composed of representatives from the following organisations:

  • representatives with managerial/industrial expertise:
    • General Manager of Spektra S.R.L. (a Trimble Company)
    • OpenGate, an IT company based in Gorgonzola
    • Academic Program Manager Italy at SAS
  • representative with expertise in upper secondary education:
    • I.S.I.S. Paolo Carcano – Como
  • representatives with scientific and industrial expertise:
    • Geomechanics and EOR-TEOR of ENI E&P Division
    • MongoDB
    • Moviri
  • representatives from business associations:
    • Chamber of Commerce of Como-Lecco

The Degree Programme representatives on the Committee are Professors Marco Donatelli, Giorgio Mantica, Andrea Martinelli, Alberto Setti, together with a student representative on the AiQua Commission.
