Insubria meets the Taipei Representative Office in Italy: working on agreements for research and academic mobility.

On Tuesday 3 March, Professor Barbara Pozzo, the Rector’s Delegate for Internationalisation, together with Professor Loredano Pollegioni, Delegate for Research and Innovation, and Professor Mauro Fasano, Delegate for Knowledge Transfer, welcomed Riccardo Lin, Director General of the Taipei Representative Office in Italy, along with his colleagues.

In the presence of Luca Gallo, Head of the Internationalisation Office, the meeting provided an opportunity to explore the agreement with the National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei Tech, both from the scientific and technological perspective and in relation to student and staff mobility. Particular attention was paid to strengthening the teaching of the Chinese language through summer camps and semester-long or year-long courses, in support of students enrolled on the degree programmes in Interlinguistic and Intercultural Mediation and in Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation.

The meeting also explored the possibility of launching a double degree agreement with Shih Chien University.
