The Advisory Committee is a consultative body of the PhD Program in Clinical and Experimental Medicine and Medical Humanities, established with the aim of contributing to the design, updating, and continuous improvement of the educational pathway and research activities.
The Committee supports the PhD Board (Collegio dei Docenti) by providing opinions and recommendations to ensure that the PhD Program remains aligned with scientific, cultural, and professional developments in its reference disciplines. In particular, it promotes dialogue with Stakeholders (internal and external to the University). Internal stakeholders include, for example, Degree Programs, Residency Schools, Master’s Programs, the PhD School, the University Governance System, and Departments. External stakeholders include academic institutions, research bodies, public and private organizations, and entities operating in the scientific, technological, social, and economic sectors where the competencies developed within the PhD program are applied.
Engagement with stakeholders represents a fundamental tool within Quality Assurance processes, as it enables the collection of relevant input for updating educational and research pathways, fostering continuous improvement of the program, and strengthening the connection between the PhD program and its scientific and professional contexts.
The Advisory Committee is composed of national experts who contribute, through their expertise and experience, to the evaluation and development of the PhD program’s educational and scientific activities. Its consultative activities are scheduled in alignment with the design, monitoring, and accreditation processes of the PhD Program, in accordance with the Guidelines for Quality Assurance of PhD Programs and the indications of the University Quality Assurance Unit (Presidio della Qualità di Ateneo, PQA).
