All PhD students who intend to study abroad are expected to send the following documents to scuola.dottorato@uninsubria.it:
- the "Study abroad application" form, countersigned by the program coordinator;
- only for the recipients of scholarships, the second part of the application form, which indicates expected expenses;
- Attendance certificate.
The amount of the scholarship is increased by no more than 50% for a total period no longer than 18 months, if the PhD student is authorized by the Doctoral Program Committee to carry out research activities abroad, for a period of no less than thirty days, as provided for by article no. 6 of the Regulations for Doctoral Programs.
To request the scholarship increase, applicants must send the “study abroad application” and the “study abroad expenses self-certification” forms with a detailed account of expected expenses to the Doctoral Program Coordinator, who, on the basis of the self-certification, will authorize the request, indicating the percentage of scholarship increase which was granted.
