The Internal Quality Assurance Committee (AiQua) of the degree programme, referred to in SUA-CdS as the ‘QA Management Group’, is the key player in the process of self-assessment and review of the degree programme, playing a fundamental role in managing the internal quality assurance processes for each degree programme (CdS) through planning, implementation, monitoring and control activities.
The AiQua Committee, comprising the Head of the Degree Programme, one or more lecturers from the programme, one or more students and an Academic Quality Manager, meets periodically to manage the quality assurance processes in terms of implementation, monitoring and control, in accordance with the deadlines set by the Quality Board, in line with ministerial provisions. It is responsible for monitoring the study programme and analysing the employment outcomes of the degree programme’s graduates. The AiQua Committee examines the official documents of the CPDS and compiles the RAD and SUA reports; it analyses and discusses the student teaching evaluation questionnaires and proposes any corrective actions. The AiQua Committee assesses the implementation and effectiveness of the proposed measures retrospectively.
The AiQUA Committee reports periodically to the Degree Programme Council (CCdS).
