The University of Insubria is preparing to welcome prospective students and their families for its 2026 Open Day, scheduled for Saturday 11 April at its Varese and Como campuses. It will be a day dedicated to discovering the University’s academic offering, with presentations of three-year bachelor’s and single-cycle master’s degree programmes, as well as the services, career guidance opportunities and support tools that accompany students throughout their university journey.

The morning will begin at 8 am with the reception of participants and the distribution of welcome packs. At 9 am, there will be a presentation of student services, a useful opportunity to explore practical aspects of university life: from enrolment procedures and tuition fees to opportunities.

Following this, from 9.45 am to 12.30 pm, there will be presentations of the degree programmes, with lecturers and students explaining the content of the courses, admission procedures, study opportunities and potential career paths. At 11 am, there will also be a session dedicated to parents, designed as a space for information and discussion, with the participation of the University’s counsellors, to explore support services and the characteristics of the university experience.

Throughout the morning, there will be information desks for degree programmes, student services stands and opportunities to meet directly with lecturers, tutors and students from the University. There will also be a dedicated listening space for students, offering the chance for discussion and further discussion with counsellors, available from 10.00 to 11.00 and then after the parents’ meeting.

The exception is the degree programme in Sports Science, which will be the only one presented in the afternoon at PalaInsubria.

The event will take place at various venues. In Varese, the events will be held at the Bizzozero Campus, in the Monte Generoso (Via Monte Generoso 71), Morselli (Via Ottorino Rossi 9) and Lanzavecchia (Via Jean Henry Dunant 3). In Como, however, the activities will take place at the Cloister at Via Sant’Abbondio 12 and at the Science Centre at Via Valleggio 11.

The University has also clarified certain organisational details. Accompanying persons, including parents, will have free access to the information stands without the need for a booking. For the presentation of degree programmes, however, priority will be given to students when booking. Booking remains compulsory for everyone for the presentation of University services and for the meeting with parents.

It is also important to note a clarification regarding the venue indicated on the tickets: the reference to Varese or Como refers exclusively to the venue where the course presentation will take place during the Open Day and not necessarily to the venue where lectures will be held. Some courses, in fact, although presented in both cities, will only hold teaching activities at one of the two venues.
