Mock Exam for Healthcare Professions: on Friday 11 September, put yourself to the test with thefaculty

On Friday 11 September, for 24 hours, ‘theSimulationDay’ – the national simulation designed for those preparing for the entrance exam for degree courses in the healthcare professions – will be available on the thefaculty app. The initiative is part of the POT TOP – Guidance and Tutoring Plan for Healthcare Professions, a project involving 38 Italian universities and covering 452 degree programmes relating to the 22 healthcare professions.

The simulation replicates the main features of the official exam: participants will be presented with 60 questions on the test subjects, to be completed within 100 minutes. Scores will be calculated using the same criteria as the actual admission test: 1.5 points for each correct answer, a penalty of 0.4 points for each incorrect answer, and no points for unanswered questions. At the end, participants will be able to compare their results with those of other participants via a real-time national leaderboard.

The initiative is completely free of charge. To take part, you need to download the thefaculty app, register or log in with your account, select ‘Healthcare Professions’ from your preferences and open the course ‘Healthcare Professions – Italian Public Universities’. On the day of the event, a banner dedicated to ‘theSimulationDay’ will appear in the app, from which you can start the test at any time within a 24-hour period.

The simulation can be taken directly via the app or continued on a computer: during the test, you will be able to generate a personal code to enter on the website simulatore.thefacultyapp.com. Once the test is complete, participants will be able to view the rankings and compare their level of preparation with that of other prospective candidates.

‘theSimulationDay’ offers a practical opportunity to practise with previously unpublished questions, become more familiar with the test structure, identify topics requiring further study, and approach the admission test with greater confidence.
