On Friday 12 June, from 9 am to 4 pm, the F. Casati Lecture Theatre at the University of Insubria, located at Via Valleggio 11 in Como, will host the conference ‘Microclimate: Understanding to Take Action’, a study day dedicated to the relationship between microclimate, health, workplace safety and indoor well-being.
The event brings together institutions, regulatory bodies, the academic world, employers’ organisations and trade unions, with the aim of exploring regulatory developments, the effects of climate change on occupational health, methods for measuring and monitoring the microclimate, and strategies for protecting the most vulnerable workers.
The morning will be devoted to technical and scientific presentations, with contributions from experts from the University of Insubria, ATS Insubria, ASST Lariana, ITL Como Lecco Sondrio and INAIL Como.
In the afternoon, there will be a round-table discussion with employers’ organisations, trade unions and bilateral bodies, designed as an opportunity for practical discussion among the various parties involved in the prevention and management of microclimatic risks.
The course is accredited for CME for healthcare staff. Participation is free of charge upon registration via Refera; registration is also available for non-CME participants.
