The fifth edition of ‘CineScience’ is drawing to a close. This film series, dedicated to fostering dialogue between cinema and popular science and to engaging with the public, is organised by the Neuroscience Research Centre at the University of Insubria, directed by Professor Lia Forti.

The third and final event is scheduled for Wednesday 16 September at 8.30 pm at Villa Calcaterra, in Busto Arsizio, with a screening of Michael Apted’s “Gorillas in the Mist”. The film tells the story of the renowned zoologist Dian Fossey, who spent many years in Africa – in the Congo, Rwanda and Kenya – devoting herself to the study of gorillas and their protection from poaching and the threat of extinction.

The introduction will be given by Professor Adriano Martinoli, Professor of Zoology in the Department of Theoretical and Applied Sciences at the University of Insubria.

The film series is organised in collaboration with the Busto Arsizio Municipal Library and the Michelangelo Antonioni Film Institute, under the patronage of Busto Arsizio Town Council.
