The Rector Maria Pierro is among the speakers at the Trento Economics Festival, organised by Il Sole 24 Ore and now in its 21st year

The Trento Economics Festival kicks off today, now in its 21st edition, with a significant change: in 2026, the event will run for five days, from 20 to 24 May, and will feature over 300 events with more than 700 speakers. Among the key figures are 4 Nobel laureates, 16 ministers, 111 speakers from the academic world, 35 national and international economists, 87 representatives from institutions and over 90 managers and entrepreneurs.

The Rector of the University of Insubria, Maria Pierro, will be in attendance again this year.

The Rector will appear live on Thursday 21 May at 12 noon on Digital Terrestrial Channel 246 or via the Radio24 link. At 5.30 pm at the Fondazione Caritro – Conference Hall, she will also take part in the panel discussion ‘Assessing the tax reform’, alongside Cristina Bartelli of Il Sole 24 Ore, Cristiano Caumont Caimi, partner at Tremonti Romagnoli Piccardi e Associati, and Guglielmo Maisto of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
