Michele Saporiti, Associate Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Department of Law, Economics and Cultures of the University of Insubria, has been elected Vice-Président of the Collège International de Philosophie in Paris, of which he has been a member since 2022 as Directeur de programme.

Founded in 1983 by Jacques Derrida, François Châtelet, Jean-Pierre Faye and Dominique Lecourt, the Collège International de Philosophie is one of the institutions that has contributed most to innovating the relationship between teaching and research, placing philosophy at the intersection with other disciplines, including literature, the arts, natural sciences, education, political science, law and new technologies.

Since 2024, the Collège International de Philosophie has been part of the Établissement Public Campus Condorcet, one of the leading research hubs in the humanities and social sciences at European and international level, under the supervision of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

The Collège brings together 50 programme directors elected internationally through a selection procedure, who are called upon to conduct their research in France and around the world, from Japan to Latin America.
