Data di pubblicazione: 18 May 2026 Immagine notizia Immagine Paragrafo On Saturday 23 May, the PalaInsubria in Varese will host the Cus Games 2026, a day dedicated to sport, games and university socialising, scheduled from 9am to 6pm at Via Monte Generoso 59. The event is open to students and staff from any university, regardless of campus, department or course of study.The programme includes men’s five-a-side football tournaments, which are also open to women, and mixed 2+2 beach volleyball, with teams comprising two men and two women. Alongside the sports competitions, there will also be table tennis, scopone, table football and darts matches, for a day designed to involve everyone, even those who do not yet have a team: in this case, help will be available to join a group.Registration is free and closes on Thursday 21 May. Each participant may register for only one sports tournament, choosing between five-a-side football and beach volleyball, whilst there are no restrictions on participation in the other games. Teams may also field external participants, up to a maximum of two in five-a-side football and one in beach volleyball.To take part in the five-a-side football and beach volleyball tournaments, you must provide a valid medical certificate for non-competitive or competitive sport. You will not be allowed to play without a certificate. The document can be submitted at the time of registration or handed in on the day of the event. It is also possible to book a medical examination through our partner service at a cost of €30, available on the day of the event from 8.30 am to 11.30 am.The event will go ahead even in the event of rain: activities will be held indoors and the beach volleyball tournament will take place on a rubber surface. A catering service provided by Il Pirata della Piada will also be available throughout the day.The prize-giving ceremony will take place at the end of the tournaments, around 6 pm. Amazon vouchers will be awarded for the sports tournaments, whilst prizes featuring Cus Insubria merchandise will be awarded for the other games.All participants must be members of Cus Insubria for the 2025–2026 season. Membership is free and can be registered online.
