Candidates are made, not born: at the University of Insubria, a career guidance and self-entrepreneurship pathway with a final open badge.

The University of Insubria renews its collaboration with Fondazione Emblema as part of the Borsa del Placement and presents “Candidates are made, not born 2026”, a career guidance and self-entrepreneurship pathway aimed at the University’s students, final-year students and recent graduates. The initiative aims to support participants in defining their professional project and to provide practical tools to approach entry into the world of work with greater awareness.

The programme consists of four online sessions. The first meeting, scheduled for 14 April from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., will focus on “Professional goals and soft skills”; it will be followed by “LinkedIn and e-recruiting” on 21 April, “Active job search: from CV to interview” on 28 April and “Entrepreneurship basics” on 5 May, always from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m..

The pathway addresses key topics for building one’s professional future: from awareness of personal skills to the strategic use of LinkedIn, from techniques for a more effective active job search to the first tools for orientation towards entrepreneurship and start-ups. Participation in all meetings includes the issuing of an open badge.
