Access procedures and opening hours

Access to these instruments is granted primarily to:

  • staff of the Department of Biotechnology and Life Sciences - DBSV
  • authorised students (bachelor's and master's degree thesis students) after adequate training

Access is also granted to staff from other departments who are familiar with the use of the instruments in question.

The availability of the instruments will depend on any analyses in progress and the time of use requested by the applicant. Access is normally granted on a daily basis for FT-IR and UV-vis, while for HPLC, A.A. and GC-MS it may be necessary to wait a few days.
