Our tutors
Subject tutors

Subject tutors provide active support to students both in fulfilling any outstanding educational requirements and in their study activities.

Information tutors

Information tutors carry out orientation activities in welcoming and assisting first-year students in collaboration with academic staff and technical-administrative staff. In particular, they provide information on how lectures and laboratory sessions are conducted, access to the e-learning platform, administrative requirements, study pathway choices, and the completion of the study plan. They also collaborate with academic staff and teaching offices in orientation activities (participating in orientation initiatives both in a support role and as testimonials).

Tutor Welcome Lab

Tutors for the Welcome Lab will be involved in the activities of this laboratory, which is dedicated to first-year students and focuses on integration into the university environment, self-awareness, and the promotion of academic success (study methods, definition of both academic and personal goals, time management), as well as the management of anxiety and emotions. During the workshop phases following the initial lectures, tutors will work with groups and will be responsible for managing the group, encouraging students to recognise their personal resources, building empathetic relationships, fostering open and constructive communication, and helping students to define a personalised development plan with clear objectives and timelines. In the period following the laboratory activities, tutors will support students in developing an effective study method through individual or group meetings.
