The University of Insubria makes a clear, transparent and responsible commitment to students with disabilities and/or certified specific learning disorders (SLD), including through its Service Charter (available on the website).
Services are provided and initiatives promoted to ensure equal opportunities in study and treatment, as well as to remove conditions and situations that may represent an obstacle to full integration.

All services can only be requested/activated after the submission of medical documentation (clinical certification of disability and/or SLD) and the drafting of the individualised training plan.
SensusAccess© is a self-service that allows you to convert web pages and documents into alternative accessible formats, text and audio. The service is specifically designed for people with disabilities.
In order to ensure freedom of movement for people with reduced or impaired motor or sensory abilities on university premises, you can call the following concierge telephone numbers to obtain information on internal (classrooms, etc.) and external (car parks, etc.) accessibility of buildings.
Please note that the use of the concierge telephone numbers listed is reserved for persons with disabilities who wish to obtain information solely and exclusively on the accessibility of university facilities.

During the academic year, you are invited to respond via email to a questionnaire that aims to collect useful data from you in order to improve the services that the University offers to students with disabilities and/or SLDs.

Book an appointment for an online interview through the Infostudenti service, so you can choose the day and time that suits you best.
When the Infostudenti web page opens, on the left-hand side there will be a list where you can select from the drop-down menu “book an appointment” > “disability and DSA student service”.
Following your booking, you will receive a confirmation email. In the following days, our staff will send you a reply email with instructions on how to proceed with the requested interview.

- Following your booking, our staff will send you a reply email with instructions on how to submit your diagnosis and draw up the training plan required to request adjustments during examinations. Please note: the diagnosis must be valid or in the process of being updated.
- During the interview, we will be able to discuss the services we offer, briefly outlined in the service charter, in order to personalise your university experience.
- Send an email request to disabilita@uninsubria.it, making sure to indicate the subject of study and/or other support needs in accordance with the diagnosis of disability and/or SLD.
- The service will be activated within 30 days of the request and only if student tutors are available.
- Tutors for reading/writing activities for exams must be requested at least 15 days in advance of the exam date. Late requests may not be accepted.
- The tutoring service can be activated up to a maximum of two times per academic year for the same subject.
- Tutors for study support can be requested for a single course at a time, up to a maximum of 20 hours per course.
- Tutors are students enrolled in the student collaboration register or recipients of tutoring grants.

If you have NOT yet drawn up your individualised training plan, you can book an appointment with us through the student information service at least 20 days before the date of the initial assessment test or when you register for the test.
