Pre-university guidance interviews

The support provided focuses on identifying a course of study that aligns with one’s aspirations, interests, and professional values, that respects personal characteristics, and that takes into account any individual constraints.

Objectives 
The objectives pursued are therefore the following:

• To initiate a process of self-awareness regarding one’s knowledge, skills (both technical and transferable), and personal characteristics;
• To analyse and, where necessary, review one’s professional aspirations and values;
• To articulate, structure, and assess one’s professional project.

Pre-university guidance interviews are intended for upper secondary school students, recent school leavers, and more generally for individuals who are interested in enrolling at university.

To offer an efficient, timely, and increasingly personalised service, we receive users by appointment only. Appointments may take place either remotely or in person.

For both options, appointments must be booked via the InfoStudenti platform (accessible from the University website homepage or via the link https://infostudente.uninsubria.it/start.php).

When making a booking, it is possible to select the date and time slot of the appointment and to specify the topic of the request. This allows the staff member to anticipate possible solutions or prepare the necessary materials for a faster and more effective handling of the request.

APPOINTMENT MODALITIES

• Remote: an invitation to a virtual appointment will be sent to the institutional email address (for students) or to the personal email address (for external users). The appointment will take place via the Microsoft Teams platform. By connecting on the booked date and time, users will receive assistance from a member of the office staff.
• In person: at the user’s request and/or in cases of actual need, an appointment may be arranged at the office during the available time slots.
