Friday 29 May, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Aula Magna of the Cloister of Sant’Abbondio, in Como, will host the presentation of the third edition of the “Systematic Dictionary of Italian and European Union Competition Law”, edited by Lorenzo Federico Pace.

The work, divided into three volumes and available online in open access, provides an organic analysis of the main topics of national and European competition law, addressing both its most established aspects and its most innovative and current developments. The three volumes are dedicated respectively to “Competition Law and Antitrust Law”, “State Aid” and “Regulation and Industrial Policy”.

The meeting will feature the participation of leading scholars and experts in the field. Speakers will include Patrizia De Pasquale, Secretary General of Aisdue and author of several contributions included in the work, Giuseppe Colangelo, Director of the Department of Law, Economics and Cultures at the University of Insubria and an antitrust expert, and Lorenzo Federico Pace, editor of the volume.

Also present will be several authors of chapters in the Dictionary: Davide Diverio of the University of Milan, Giacomo Biagioni of the University of Cagliari, Daniele Gallo of Luiss Guido Carli University and Mariateresa Maggiolino of Bocconi University. Elisabetta Codazzi of the University of Insubria and Oreste Pallotta of the University of Palermo will also take part in the discussion.

The afternoon will be divided into the three sections that make up the Dictionary, offering participants an opportunity for discussion and in-depth analysis of a subject that is central to law and European economic policies.

The initiative is aimed at scholars and researchers, professionals in the sector, as well as anyone wishing to approach competition law for the first time.
