The academic community gathered in via Ravasi, Varese, to bid farewell to two special newly retired colleagues, both of whom joined the University in 1999: Roberta Cibari, secretary to four Directors General and an indispensable point of reference for administrative activities, and Adriano Tresin, head and "cornerstone" of the General and Logistics Services in Varese and Como.An official ceremony was held in the Aula Magna in their honour, with a collective reading of messages, photographs, shared memories, and the presentation of well-deserved gifts. This was followed by a toast and a buffet kindly provided by Roberta and Adriano. Immagine Among those present at the celebration, alongside a great many colleagues from the technical, administrative, and library staff, were numerous academic staff members and, in the front row, three Directors General: the current Director Antonio Romeo, his predecessor Marco Cavallotti, and the University's long-serving Director Marino Balzani. Also in attendance were Acting Pro-Rector Umberto Piarulli and former Rector Alberto Coen Porisini.The warmest wishes for a new chapter in life, filled with personal fulfilment, serenity, and new projects, were extended to the two newly retired colleagues by Rector Maria Pierro and the entire academic community.
