Today at Insubria

Uninsubria proposes many activities in order to tell about itself, make itself known and involve citizens, families, schools and prospect students. Here you will find our dissemination activities on the territory and in schools, our major events, projects with local authorities, everything that creates a bridge between our University and the society in which we live.

Every year, for you

The Researchers' Night (Meet Me Tonight) is a European initiative held on the last Friday of September in over 300 European cities to make research and researchers known to the general public in a fun and engaging way. Our University has participated in the event since 2013 with the offices of Como, Varese and Busto Arsizio.
Every year the number of partners participating in the event has been increasing, transforming this event into a great celebration of the three cities that lasts several days (in Como even a week!) and offers workshops, conferences and visits organized in the University offices, in schools and museums and with a big event in the Cities' squares at the end of the itinerary.
Each past edition saw the participation of several thousand people and was characterized by a common thread around which the program was designed.

Since 2001 the University of Insubria offers its own Concert Season as part of the cultural offer addressed to the City and the Region. Admission is free and this appointment has seen a succession of events of great value in recent years, thanks to both the quality of the performers and of the repertoire performed.
The concerts, aimed not only at an audience of experts, but also at those who want to approach great music for the first time, have a strong vocation for a tasty and frank concertism, but not without some particularities. First of all, the musical genres range transversally, crossing the cultured paths of chamber and symphonic music without neglecting the suggestions of jazz, musicals and Latin music. Furthermore, each concert lends itself to different listening levels and offers multiple stimuli.
