From 26 to 29 January, the University of Insubria is hosting Erasmus Days, a series of meetings dedicated to presenting the international mobility opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme for study, traineeships and double degrees.

The University renews its commitment to internationalisation, offering students the opportunity to enjoy a formative experience abroad at one of its partner universities. The mobility period allows students to attend courses, carry out academic activities and take exams at the host institution, with full recognition of the activities carried out upon their return, in accordance with the Learning Agreement.

Selection is made through annual calls for applications, published at the following links:

Applications must be submitted online only. Erasmus+ mobility is open to students of all study cycles and can vary in duration from a minimum of 2 months to a maximum of 12 months.

For the next academic year, there will be approximately 1,400 places available, distributed across more than 300 partner universities in 28 destination countries. In the 2025-2026 academic year, the University of Insubria registered approximately 500 Erasmus students, including incoming and outgoing mobility, confirming the University's strong international appeal.

The Erasmus Days consist of three events, each lasting approximately two hours, which can be attended either in person or online:

The programme for the meetings includes a welcome from the Rector's Delegate for Internationalisation Barbara Pozzo, and the Head of Internationalisation Luca Gallo. This will be followed by presentations from Erasmus delegate lecturers, testimonials from former students who have already had an international mobility experience, and an explanation of the calls for applications by the International Mobility Office.

Erasmus Days are a key opportunity to find out how to participate, learn about available destinations and talk directly to those who have already undertaken a course of study or internship abroad, with a view to academic, personal and professional growth.
