Students may request recognition of language certifications they have obtained by submitting an application in accordance with the terms and conditions set out by their degree programme and the University.
Valid for the following degree courses:
- Bachelor's degree in: Computer Science, Environmental and Natural Sciences
- Master's degree in: Computer Science, Environmental Engineering and Workplace Sustainability
Valid for the following degree courses:
- Bachelor's degree in: Engineering for occupational and environmental safety
Valid only for the three-year degree course in History and Stories of the Contemporary World
Credits may be awarded for language proficiency certificates – other than those for languages being studied – issued by certification bodies officially recognised by the MIUR (Ministry of Education, Universities and Research). Credits will be awarded as specified below:
- No credits will be awarded for A1 and A2 level certifications.
- For B1 level certifications – 2 credits.
- For B2 level certifications – 4 credits.
- For C1 level certifications – 5 credits.
- For C2 level certifications – 6 credits.
For students enrolled before the 2020/2021 academic year, credits will be awarded as specified below:
- A2 level certifications - 2 credits
- B1 level certifications - 4 credits
- B2 level certifications - 6 credits
- C1 level certifications - 7 credits
- C2 level certifications - 8 CFU.
Foreign language certificates can only be recognised if they are no more than 3 years old from the date of issue to the date of application for recognition.
