Ateneo Più Card

Students enrolled at the University of Insubria are given the Carta Ateneo Più: a personalised magnetic card with the student's photo, produced by Banca Popolare di Sondrio.

• It must be used as a document identifying the person as a student, and is therefore necessary to access examinations and services offered at university facilities (e.g. study rooms, library). N.B. It does not replace your identity document, which will always be requested at the Student Secretariat counters in order to protect student privacy. 
   
• This is the tool that allows regional scholarship recipients to use the catering service and on which the right to free meals for the category of student recipients is loaded. 
   
• It is also a reloadable prepaid card with an IBAN and all the internet banking services that the student can decide to activate when collecting the card or subsequently by visiting a branch of Banca Popolare di Sondrio. These services allow students to use the card to receive scholarship credits or refunds, pay university fees and contributions using Pago PA payment slips (in which case there are no fees for using the card as a credit card), as well as make bank transfers or set up direct debits for utilities.

Starting in October, as soon as it becomes available, students will receive their Carta Ateneo Più card at the address provided during enrolment.

Duplicates of old university cards will no longer be issued. However, it will be possible to apply for the Carta Ateneo Più card, as described above.
