Requirements: 

Knowledge of the moleculare bases of organims' functionality. Basic knowledge of the teaching courses in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Physiology and Genetics.

The examination is organized in an oral examination focused on the discussion of a specific topic related to the overal programme. The final score is given in 30ies.

The course will deal the main aspects of the integration, at the molecular level, of the systems and mechanisms of cellular regulation.

In the first part, a detailed view of protein metabolism will be presented. During the second part, an integrated view of cellular metabolism, cell growth and division will be given, with particular attention to the molecular basis of protein functionality in the cell, to cell signalling and to the different level of cell regulation.
