Providing a comprehensive overview of the fundamental principles of the metabolism of human cells and tissues.

Metabolism of biomolecules.

Biochemistry of tissues: metabolic integration between different tissues and some aspects of the blood, liver and hormones.

Written exam for admission to oral, consisting of 30 multiple choice questions related to all the topics covered during the courses of Biochemistry I and Biochemistry II, n 5 formulas and n 2 traits of metabolic pathways related to the molecules studied. All evidence must be resolved within 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Oral exam, sustainable only by students who have obtained a score of at least 18/30 in the written. This vote will be considered for third in the overall assessment for the final vote.
The oral examination will be supported by two different teachers, who will issue a single judgment and will have a duration of 30 minutes for each student. The proposed questions will be related to all the topics covered during the course of Biochemistry I and Biochemistry II, to define knowledge and understanding ( 25%), ability to apply knowledge and understanding ( 25%), judgement (10%) , communication skills (20%) and learning ability (20 %).
The final grade will be the average of the marks obtained in the written and oral tests and will be unique to the CI Biochemistry I and Biochemistry II.
